Review : Best value drive of it's type at time of purchase
I did a lot of searching to find the best price on a 1TB 2.5" that also had USB 3.0 and this was it. The times of best bargains on e-bay seem to be long gone and Amazon manages to be the most competitive for me more than half the time. The drive is straightforward plug-n-play. I have USB 3.0 ports so I can take advantage of the high speeds. It averages 65 to 75MBps for writes which is perfect for the large files I have to back-up. To me USB 3.0 has made e-sata totally redundant, especially as, though the read speeds are high, e-sata drives only have write speeds equal to USB 2.0 in the real world.

Definitely the best value drive of it's type at the mo.
