I've had this hard drive for around 6 months, and it's ready to be forgotten now. Initially it was fine, until about 3 months of moderate use and the whole thing just stopped working. The plastic casing is very weak and the whole drive feels hollow, and the single USB connection port proved to be as unstable as it looked as this became loose and damaged from the drive. Luckily the actual drive inside wasn't corrupted it was just a fault with the port, so I got a new port and it worked fine again, until around 2 months later, when it randomly decided it needed formatting upon connection to every computer, hence rendering everything on it inaccessible.
It was fine to start off with, but unfortunately didn't last very long. If you are going to be portable with this then definitely get a case, as I can guarantee it will not remain as one piece without one. Better still, don't buy it and get a...
