Review : Take your files with you
After looking for an external Hard Disk, this Intenso suits my needs perfectly. I have a slightly aging MacBook (it's nearly 5 years old) but still works perfectly - however the puny hard drive only has a few hundred MB spare and this is the perfect solution....
...It plugs in via USB without the need for any power cable and allows me to transfer files to-and-from my Mac. I can also connect it to my work laptop (a non-Mac HP machine running Windows XP) and access the files from there. My full music collection and all my photos are now on this drive rather than on my laptop (they are of course also backed up onto DVD) and I can play/view the files from anywhere without having to install any additional software or carry around a hefty power cable.
That's all I wanted from an external Hard Drive and this does the job brilliantly, the read/write speeds could be a bit quicker but speed isn't really an issue for me as apart from when I first got the device I tend not...
